Privacy Policy

Revised June 18, 2026 · Effective upon launch Version 1.1 Ashee Media LLC
Plain English Summary
We collect only what we need to run the service and verify your bar status. Your client's case materials are processed to generate your brief and then deleted on a timeline you choose — no one on our team reads or reviews them, we don't keep them afterward, and we never use them to train AI. The only personal data we hold long-term is the minimum account and compliance information needed to operate lawfully. That is it.
1. Who We Are

GetAttorneyReady is a service operated by Ashee Media LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Georgia, USA. Our service is available at getattorneyready.com.

For all privacy matters, Ashee Media LLC is the data controller. Contact details are in Section 11.

GetAttorneyReady is a B2B service for licensed US attorneys only. This Privacy Policy governs data collected from registered attorney users. Your obligations regarding your own clients' data are addressed in Section 3.

2. What We Collect About You

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the service, verify bar status, and maintain the legal compliance records required by our Terms of Service.

2A. Account Data

The table below shows what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. Note that some data is retained after account deletion because it is tied to permanent compliance log records — specifically your name and bar number, which are referenced in every session log entry and are required for legal and regulatory purposes.

DataWhy we collect itRetention
Full name Account identification; Brief Package personalisation; referenced in compliance logs Retained 7 years after account deletion — required to identify the attorney in compliance records
Bar state & bar number Bar verification against the official state bar registry and identity verification via Didit; referenced in every session log, ToS acceptance record, and Responsibility Checkbox log Retained 7 years after account deletion — compliance logs are permanently linked to bar number
Firm name Brief Package cover sheet personalisation only Deleted on account deletion — no ongoing legal purpose
Email address Account login; service correspondence Deleted on account deletion — no ongoing legal purpose
Password (hashed) Account authentication (email/password login only) Deleted immediately on account deletion

Green = survives account deletion · Grey = deleted on account deletion

2B. Session & Compliance Logs

For each Session we create the following permanent compliance records. These are legal records of your use of the service and are retained indefinitely. They cannot be deleted on request — see Section 8.

Log EntryPurpose
GAR Reference NumberUnique Session identifier (format: GAR-YYYY-XXXX)
ToS acceptance timestampLegal record of your Terms of Service agreement
ToS version acceptedLegal record of which version you agreed to
Responsibility Checkbox timestampLegal record of your professional responsibility acknowledgment per Session
IP address at acceptanceAuthentication and fraud prevention; part of the compliance record
Payment record (via Stripe)Financial record; refund eligibility; links payment to Session
2C. Technical Data

We collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and access timestamps for security monitoring and service maintenance. These are not used for advertising or profiling and are retained for a maximum of 90 days.

3. Your Client's Data
Client materials are processed to generate your brief, then deleted on a timeline you choose Your client's documents, correspondence, photos, and notes are held in temporary session storage only — long enough to generate and deliver your Brief Package and to honor the deletion timing you select before payment. They are never archived, indexed, backed up, or used for any purpose beyond generating your brief.
You choose when your materials are deleted

Before you pay, you must choose how your Uploaded Materials and Brief Package are deleted after you download them. There is no default — you make this choice explicitly for each Session:

  • Delete immediately. As soon as your download is confirmed complete, your Uploaded Materials and Brief Package are permanently deleted, and no re-download is possible. Before you commit to this option, we show you a confirmation note explaining that consequence and offer the timed option below as the safer alternative.
  • Delete after a window you set (5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes). Your materials and brief are kept only for the window you choose. During the window an on-screen timer runs and a "download again" button lets you re-download. When the timer ends, everything is permanently deleted; there is no access afterward.
If a download can't be confirmed — the 24-hour safety net

Deletion is always tied to a confirmed, completed download — never to the click alone. If your brief is never downloaded, or a download cannot be confirmed as successful, we do not delete early. Instead we hold your materials for up to 24 hours and email you a recovery link. Within that window you can either re-download your brief, or confirm "I have my brief — close my session," which deletes everything immediately. If you do neither within 24 hours, all Uploaded Materials and the Brief Package are permanently and automatically deleted.

After that 24-hour deletion, your materials and brief are gone. Regenerating a brief requires a new Session and a new payment, consistent with our Terms of Service (Section 6 — all sales final for generated briefs).

What is deleted, and what is kept

In every case, what is deleted is your case-material content: your uploaded files, the case overview, and the generated Brief Package. The Session's compliance log — your name, firm, bar number, email, GAR Reference Number, Terms acceptance and Responsibility Checkbox timestamps, and payment record — is retained as described in Section 2. Those are legal records, not case materials.

No member of the GetAttorneyReady team accesses, reads, or reviews your client's materials at any time.

Your professional obligations

You are responsible for ensuring your use of GetAttorneyReady complies with your professional obligations regarding client confidentiality, including your applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, any applicable privilege rules, and any court orders governing the materials you upload. By uploading materials you represent that you have the right to do so.

4. Our AI Technology Provider

To generate your Brief Package, your Uploaded Materials and case overview are processed by an AI language model operated by a third-party provider. As referenced in our Terms of Service Section 7A, that provider is:

Anthropic, PBC
Operator of the Claude AI system, used via API to process your uploaded materials and generate your Brief Package. Processing occurs within Anthropic's infrastructure and is subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. Under Anthropic's standard API terms, inputs submitted via the API are not used to train Anthropic's models by default.

We may change our AI technology provider at our discretion. We will update this Privacy Policy promptly if we do so, and the current provider will always be named in this Section 4.

5. No AI Training on Your Data
Your data is never used to train any AI model We do not use your Uploaded Materials, your client's information, your case overview, or your Brief Package to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model — ours or any third party's. This is not a setting you need to opt out of. It is how the system is built.

Anthropic's API terms confirm that inputs submitted via the API are not used for model training by default. We have not opted in to any data sharing arrangement with Anthropic that would permit training use of your materials.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies only for the following purposes:

  • Session authentication — a secure session cookie keeps you logged in during your active session. It expires when you close your browser or log out.
  • Security — CSRF tokens to protect form submissions.
  • Basic analytics — anonymous page view counts to understand how the service is used. No personally identifiable information is included.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or any technology designed to follow you across other websites. GetAttorneyReady does not display advertisements and does not share data with advertising networks.

Payment processing cookies are set by Stripe during the payment flow. These are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

7. Data Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold:

  • All data transmitted to and from GetAttorneyReady is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
  • Account passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we cannot recover your password
  • Payment data is processed entirely by Stripe — we never receive or store your card number, expiry, or CVC
  • Transactional emails (account activation, payment receipts, password resets) are sent via Resend — only your email address and the email content are shared with Resend for delivery
  • Bar verification uses automated lookups against official state bar registries — your bar number and name are sent to the registry only for verification
  • The service is hosted on Railway — your account data and session records are stored on Railway's infrastructure in the United States
  • Uploaded Materials are stored in temporary session storage with access restricted to the processing pipeline only
  • Compliance logs are stored in access-controlled database infrastructure

In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you at your registered email address within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable law.
